Oh my, I just have to brag - and clickers, too!
This isn't a big thing, but it just makes me appreciate how smart dogs are.
I took Balto to a show n go at our club Saturday. I was also working the registration table, so we were both there all day. I brought my clicker with and just randomly clicked when he happened to be in heel position. That part paid off when our turn came, BUT it's not what amazed me.
When I started a left turn, Balto was not staying in heel position, so I said "back". What did he do? He looked at me and backed up!! Holy cow! We were doing pivots on the left turns!
I love that Balto!
