I took Rushie and Babsy to class tonight, Joy last night. Both classes ended and new classes start in mid January.
Bummer. Babsy I plan to show in mid december. Two months.... Class was good. We had a very tight Rally course and I ran Babsy both times off lead and she was perfect, but we were slower than the Rotty and the Jack Russel. In the next class with Rushie, when we timed it, I was third to last in line, and I started out at a trot. Rush acts like he is ninety or so, but he pricked his ears up and trotted along with me, like hey this is fun. The class had been ribbing the min-pin lady as she was invited to the class to participate and is an obedience trainer, most of us went down to her dog many times before. When I started trotting along in there, the whole class was roaring. Rush did great. The Doberman lady tried to trot too, but we were quicker. The last dog was a shepherd too. She started out at a trot too. Half way through the pup thought she was playing grabbed the leash and started a War of Tug with her. Well, we won the timed event. I beat the min-pin. Yippee!!! ![]() But, no more classes 'til January.
