I see there's a trial in a week in Dayton. Looking at the signs, I quickly ran across some tricky ones, like, Down-Sit, and Sit-Stand.
Just wondering what others have experienced at a trial. Oh-oh, I just reached the Pivot exercises. I guess we'll have to wait a little longer. We're just now working on the AKC-advanced stuff. |

Not yet! We have not had any trials here lately. The next ones are in June and I hope to give it a try.

I see now that the pivot is only the right pivot. We can do that. And we are practicing the stand. Though, you are allowed to touch for that.
The trial in Dayton is 4 separate ones in 2 days, so there's a possibility of a title during the weekend. http://www.ukcdogs.com/WebSite.nsf/R...p=DE#Obedience Scroll to the end for Rally. |

Well, double bummer--I thought that maybe we could eke our way through the course, but we have an agility trial that weekend.

If it's offered at the Premier I'm sure I'll try with Kenya! I was going to enter her in two Dog Sport trials, but we're doing that in early May to get those titles out of the way.

I think I can make a public announcement since it is in the Premier premium that, yes. there will be Rally at Premier. Our club will be in charge of the ring and will also have a Rally trial at the same site on Friday. There trials are expected to fill FAST (like within a day or two of opening which is March 2) so if you are thinking of entering don't wait. The one draw back is that it is outside. We've been trying to negotiate for a inside site, but so far no room. The weather last year was perfect, but this is Michigan!
