"Rocky is a beautiful one year old German Shepherd who was picked up stray.

He is a large and energetic boy, only about a year old, and full of young dog playfulness. Rocky is a friendly dog and has liked everyone he has met since his arrival at the Shelter. As Rocky needs some additional training and does sometimes jump up, we prefer that he be placed in a home with children over the age of 12 as we would not want to see a small child accidentally knocked down by this big goofball. Rocky seems to know some commands and loves to play fetch and receive as much attention as possible. He is already neutered and has just received his vaccinations and tested negative for heartworm. We do not recommend a home with cats, but Rocky would probably do well with a female dog playmate. Rocky is a smart boy who will respond well to additional training. He is very bored at the Shelter and needs a forever family that will give him proper exercise and training to keep him occupied. He will make a great companion. LOG#2008-155. "
