Default Poor King...

http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/dis...petid=12329612

Please help poor King. I first met him when I stupidly went into the local SPCA during my lunch break. He looked so sad, it broke my heart.
Thankfully the rescue I was going to contact about him found him first and he was pulled:

Posted 11-6-08. King is a pure breed German Shepherd who is 2 years old and neutered. Poor King was dumped at a local shelter when he got too big for his owners - a result of irresponsible people not doing enough research before they get a dog. King is an awesome boy who will need an experienced GSD/dog owner to help him continue to gain confidence in the world around him. King knows sit, down and shake and has shown no handling issues. King is also very treat motivated and eager to learn. His foster home has been working with him on his doggie etiquette skills and he gets along fine with other dogs. King is a very loving, loyal, boy who deserves someone that will be truly dedicated to further training and guiding him. He is looking for someone that is worthy of his devotion – could that be you?

I wish I could scoop him up
That infuriates me when I read people dumped because he got to big

...which is why I want to be fully prepared to take on the responsibility. I agree....taking a dog in only to give up on it later when the novelty has worn off is totally selfish and irresponsible.
