The Mountain Home AFB Veterinary Treatment Facility has informed me that there is a military working dog available for adoption at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho.
He is 4 years old (Black) and was trained to find explosives. He has been deemed unfit for military duty because he is skittish. He is dog aggressive and not socialized. He needs an experienced owner and a home with no kids or other pets. He is cow hocked, so he walks a little funny. It's not causing him any problems at this time; but may cause knee or hip problems later in life. If you are interested, please send me a pm and I will give you the contact number to inquire about him. |
