Hello,
I have a sweet 9 month old, male, short haired German shepherd. My boyfriend and I just broke up, and we had him since he was 8 weeks old. Unfortunately, he had the time in the day to take care of him, and give him all the playing and love he needs. However, since we split, i'm taking care of him because he can't keep him at his mom's house. I have a demanding job, and it prevents me from providing him the attention he needs. I'm trying my best to give him a loving home. I walk him in the morning, play with him 45 min on my lunch break, rush home after work to play with him and everything. But i don't know how much longer i can keep it up. I feel guilty because he is such a sweet sweet boy, and he loves people. But he's still a puppy, and i'm afraid i won't be able to give him everything he should have. Socialization, family, and not being cooped up inside all day ![]() It just breaks my heart because i don't want to give him up, especially at this time...but i'm trying to see if there's a loving home out there for him. If i find a perfect fit, I will see him go, so if you're genuinely interested then i'd like to meet up. He's up to date on shots, is currently enrolled in obedience/protection school (with half the sessions still to take), and has insurance paid for about 9 months left. He's un-neutered, no papers but looks pure, and is about 80lbs right now. I've attached a picture of my gorgeous boy. Any questions please let me know. |

Please have him neutered before letting him go to anyone.
spay california spaycalifornia I don't know if your insurance helps cover it. But you really need to do it. Some pages of reading to help in placing him: Placing Your Own

You can contact the Northern California German Shepherd rescue group and they will help you find him a home (owner surrender). We got our last two dogs from them and they are a great group. German Shepherd Rescue of Northern California
