German Shepherd Date: 2012-02-01, 6:34PM CST Reply to: jss8e-2830125953@comm.craigslist.org Hudson is a beautiful pure bred German Shepherd who was surrendered by his owners. They made the difficult choice to surrender him because Hudson had attacked their small dog. Hudson can not go to a home with animals smaller than he is. Hudson has a hernia that he was born with, which will need to be removed. Hudson has many wonderful qualities! He likes to go for long walks, although he does tend to pull on his leash, but he's getting better with it. Hudson is very shy when you first meet him, and it takes awhile for him to come out of his shell. He loves to play with his knotted rope toy and his frisbee. Hudson does not like small dogs, and he barks and growls at other dogs when they come on his property and he is tethered. Hudson is fearful of strangers at times when he is on leash and approached. He doesn't like the vets at our local Vet Clinic. He has never tried to bite anyone, but he barks and growls. He is usually okay if people ignore him and let him approach them. He especially does not like small dogs. Given Hudson's dislike of smaller beings, we would recommend that Hudson not be in a home with small children. Older ones would be just fine. Hudson is a very loyal and loving dog. He enjoys sleeping on the floor of the living room or the computer room while you watch TV or work on the computer. He will follow you from room to room. Hudson needs a very special home, but we know it's out there! Please email us for an application for Hudson. Hudson is up for adoption through the Faribault County Humane Society in Blue Earth, Minnesota. Please reply to this posting for an adoption application. The adoption fee for Hudson is $125 with a $25 rebate upon neutering. ![]() PostingID: 2830125953 |

BUMP - Hudson sounds like he'll be hard to place. This shelter lists their dogs on Craigslist and doesn't require spaying/neutering before releasing animals to new homes. Given this and Hudson's health and behavioral issues, I'm worried about his future.
