Default Handsome 11 month old male, Utah

Greetings all,

A friend of mine contacted me last night about a male that she is fostering. Here is what she has to say . . .

"I came across a beautiful purebred 11 month old male GSD. His previous owner could no longer care for him and he was being kenneled for majority of the day and wanted him to have a better life. I took him in temporarily and I'm looking to re-home him in a wonderful loving family. I had him neutered as soon as I got him and have kept him for the last two weeks to recover before re-homing him and to assess how he behaves to find the proper home for him. He's full of puppy energy and will need lots of exercise. He not aggressive at all and had been socialized very well. He is great with kids of all ages and does well with other dogs. Him and Koda are good buddies, though she's annoyed by him when she trying to sleep! He's completely potty trained (no accidents in the house and no marking). I had him micro-chipped and he's current on his vaccinations and they are not due again until July. . . His training for commands seemed to be very lax at his previous home, so I have been working on sit, down, soft (when taking treats from your hand), go to bed, go to kennel, wait, off (no paws/no mouth) and stay (though with his energy has proven to be difficult). He has not been destructive to anything in the house or in the yard, but the previous owner thought it was cute to let him mouth on his hands. I have tried to curb this behavior and he's learning that it is not okay to mouth. . . He comes with a large crate, 2 collars, leash, toys and food. I am trying to find a loving home with someone who can be home with him and not kennel him for 15 hours a day or keep him chained outside. He is very loving and a huge people person. He strives to please and has tons of potential.

She is asking a very reasonable rehoming fee. Please send me a pm if you would like to talk to her about this cutie . . .

Wish I was closer. Sent my beautiful Jonas to the bridge in November and I'm ready to own another. I have a 8 year old malinois/gsd female at home . . I will keep checking this board for any rescues in my area
