Purebred GSD. This boy is a sweetheart who has completed advanced obedience and loves to please. He is great with people and other dogs. We are not sure how he would do around cats. He is two years old and is being surrendered because his owners are tired of dealing with his almost nonexistent epilepsy. He takes a very small amount of medication and hasn't had a seizure in years but they have grown tired of paying for the medication and asked their vet to euthanize him. Thankfully their vet contacted MARS! Bruno is SUPER excited to find a real family with humans that really love him and will play with him and treat him like the beloved family pet he should be. Please help us help Bruno!! More about Bruno - Urgent Foster (or Adopter) Needed: Pet ID: 4230421 • Spayed/Neutered • Up-to-date with routine shots • House trained Bruno - Contact Information: Midwest Animal Rescue Services, Minneapolis, MN

Thats so sad, I wish I could take him, I would be in divorce court. I have a dog with siezures since November 2005, started when she was about 18 months old, so I've dealt with it for many years. She has good control with meds and has 3-6 seizures a year. The meds are CHEAP. 90 day supply of phenobarbitol runs about $20 and her other med is about $15 a month.
Epilepsy should not be a death sentence, a dog can live a very good life with epilepsy. I hope someone takes the poor boy.
