Montgomery County, PA - Holly, 8 month old female, B&T, needs experienced owner

Holly is a young, spayed female and has had a bit of a tough life. She wasn't given the proper socialization or training as a young pup and quickly became too much for her owners who surrendered her to rescue.

Holly arrived as a very scared little girl but quickly blossomed through lots of positive training. She is very smart and has a strong desire to work but she knows how to take advantage of those who lack leadership.

Holly is very loving. She currently lives with 2 other GSDs and 2 cats. While she does get along with the other animals in the home, proper introductions need to be made. Holly would do best in a quiet, stable home that can properly exercise and train her daily. She is not recommended for a home with young children.

Too bad she wasn't socialized as a puppy, I would have certainly taken a look at her but we have two small children.

It is a shame. She is a wonderful dog and if I was in a better position (and if fostering with her would be easier), she wouldn't be going anywhere. She is super smart and incredibly loving once a relationship has been developed.
