Default Rochester, NY - 6mo female, blk/red

The owner of this pup has decided she is just "too much dog" for her and needs to find an active, GSD experienced home as she no longer has the time or money to care for her. I first met the puppy when she was 4 months old and the owner was considering rehoming her, and later changed her mind. This morning the owner called me crying and saying she can no longer handle her.

She has AKC papers but I don't think she has sent them in yet.

Owner had taught her sit, down, roll over, shake, etc. She is housebroken and crate trained, good with other dogs, unsure how she is with cats. She's not a "bad" dog but rather sounds too active for her older owner.

If anyone in the area is interested or knows of someone who else please feel free to contact me, I can deliver her to her new home (within a reasonable distance). I can see about getting some pictures as well. I believe she is offering to send all the dog's belongings with her (food, toys, etc.) The only stipulation is that the owner would like updates on the dog in the future.

I think worst case scenario I may end up fostering her until an appropriate home can be found but i'd love to find someone interested first if at all possible.

Apparently not? That's the impression I got. I'm not really quite sure where she came from either, i'll have to check her AKC registration.. her father had a familiar kennel name but I can't remember either off the top of my head. The breeder was local but she couldn't provide me with a name.
