There's a terrific, young female at the Delaware SPCA in Stanton who will be available for adoption starting tomorrow, June 24. She was spayed just today. She was a "stray," but the people who brought her in said her name is Tinkerbell. She looks to be about 18months (or less) and has a super temperament. She's shy at first but is cautious rather than fearful; she behaves similarly with other dogs, both male and female. She walks very nicely on leash and gives wonderful attention--she will be a lot of fun to work with (is super smart, too!) and will make an excellent companion. Hasn't shown much play drive--yet. If I had room, I'd take her just so I could screen potential adopters more thoroughly than the SPCA can.
Anyone who is interested can contact the shelter directly: Delaware SPCA in Stanton (Delaware SPCA), 302.998.2281. Thanks! |
