April 11, 2011   Dear Friends of Petraits, Isis (Petraits attached) is a magnificent, playful, happy, high-energy, intelligent, fun, and strong, 18-month-old, 65-pound, female, long-haired German Shepherd looking for a loving home. Isis was found as a stray in Chicago. She did her time at Chicago Animal Care and Control and was then transferred to Chicago Canine Rescue. This playful, active working girl is not content to sit in a shelter cage. She’s looking for a shepherd-loving dog-lover to take her under their wing for training, grooming and daily exercise. Isis knows the commands sit, down and shake. But, she really needs someone to focus on her manners … she thinks it’s fun to jump up on people as they walk by. She loves to play ball, and she enjoys the company of other dogs (not cats). She would do beautifully in a home with a playful male shepherd. Pretty Isis - tennis ball in mouth, ready to have some fun - is still listed, and available from the Rescue! She is a doll baby for sure....
