Grizzly is a beautiful young German Shepherd. He is a tall guy and predominately Black with tan markings. He is a little on the lean side and could use some weight on him, but he is in good shape and in need of a loving home. If you love Shepherds, you may want to take a look at this tall, dark and handsome guy. He would love to share time with you on walks and be your companion. Grizzly prefers to be the only pet in his home and requires older teens or adults because of his large size and not being raised or socialized with children. I went and saw this boy yesterday.

He is even more gorgeous in person.

He was brought in with a female boxer or pit mix, their owner passed away and they were in the house with his body for 4.5 days before anyone had found them. They did eat some of his body, they had no other food and they were starving, both the GSD and the mix are thin. He could easily gain 15 pounds.

The owner got him from Germany and paid big bucks for him. He showed no interest in me or my ex. He didn't care to be pet, he didn't want any of our attention. One of the workers said that he becomes attached to people he knows and he is very friendly and playful. So the worker approached his kennel and he wagged his tail and greeted him with a couple of licks. So he is friendly, if he knows you.

He didn't bark or whine at all. He was very quiet and he just sat there and watched everything. The worker said he only gets along with the female he was brought in with. But he showed no aggression or bd behavior towards the 2 dogs next to his kennel.

I think he is a gorgeous, well behaved dog that has been through alot and deserves a good home.
