sweet sweet boy, is what the gal, Katy told me when she called me back, gets along fine with other dogs, has been aggressively harrassed by other dogs in household, he's submissive and unfortunately the owner kept him crated for extended periods of time in too small of a crate and he has some non debilitating health issues. Anyone? Is there anyone who would love to give this boy his forever home. Contact by email to the foster on the petfinder pg. this is a really really small HS that works from their homes, otherwise lots of other animals in animal control and are endangered. Katy 336-902-1517 other #'s 336-984-0227 336-667-6138 remember these are all volunteers and work from home to help save these pets, and some have full time jobs, so they may not get back to you right away. ![]() ![]() ![]() Elijah is a wonderful good natured boy who is humble and sweet. He is great with the cats and little dogs at home, but the other two German Shepherds he lives with pick on him constantly. For this reason only we are looking for a new home for him, so he can feel safe. When his "mom" got him he had been kept in a crate that was too small for him. He stood sort of at a crouch. Since Sheri has had him he is much better but he does have some elbow displasia in his front legs from having had to be in a crouching position in his growing years. The bones have sinced fused together. They cause him no trouble but he may have severe osteo arthritus as he gets older and there is a chance he may need pain meds. There is no hip displasia that they can find. For now he is great. No limp and he walks a mile each day without breaking a sweat. He does have chronic ear infections that have to be treated occasionally with mometamax. You will know when this happens because he will start shaking his head. Elijah is a wonderful boy and doesn't complain but a home with no dominant dogs is what he needs to be happy. Adoption fee: $110 For and adoption application contact Mary by e-mail: soonerr1@charter.net
