Default Max - 5yrs, neutered, male - GSD rescue wanted

I got this from the Lewis County Humane Society, which is just south of Lowville, NY -

Quote:
Max was born 7/27/06. His owners have had him since he was a puppy. They told me they were giving him up because he was urinating in the house when they weren't home. The vet told them it was probably seperation anxiety. They were not willing to do the work to keep their dog, and "just want to get rid of him." He is neutered and UTD on vaccines.

I would love to get him into a GSD rescue ASAP. We are full here and don't have the time to give him the attention he needs.
If anyone would want to contact them directly, please PM me for the phone number. I can pull/transport if needed, but would require some planning ahead as my schedule is currently very full between work, school, ambulance squad.

He's a beauty!! And his family is a bunch of jerks for not wanting to work with him on his anxiety. I hope a rescue can take him and he can fins a very loving forever home!!

What lovely owners. You deserve much better Max so here's a little bump towards finding you a nice new home that cares about you (he could also have a UTI, but I guess that wasn't checked out...) Those pics are sad - as though he's looking for his family.

Bump. Any rescues who are willing to take Max into foster care?

Oh what great owners, I hate people sometimes! Bump for the poor boy who needs a home where people will love him and not dump him.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away.
