It breaks my heart to even have to think about doing this, but unfortunately I believe I almost have to. I've had Tacoma since she was 7 weeks old which makes this very difficult to do... But I feel I don't have the time or room to give her what she needs. She is VERY active and FULL of never ending energy. She needs someone who has the time to devote to her and her needs. She does have EPI - but is on meds and they are working well. I thought about posting her on Craigslist but I'd rather see her to go a fellow GSD human more than anyone, they understand the breed better.
Tacoma is a Black/tan BUILT girl... She's a little over weight due to my lack of time to get her out playing and I take responsibility for that. She's been up to date on shots all her life and is going in for her next rounds in May... I have all vet records from her since I've had her. Spayed when she was old enough to be, never bred. Another reason for my doing this is my parents have been watching her while I'm at work, they are getting older and are having a hard time keeping up with her. Coma has been trained, but due to reasons has been out of the swing of things for about a year, she sits, down, stays (sometimes takes a few trys) Loves tennis balls, swimming. She also prefers not to share the house with cats... she doesn't hurt them, just insists on playing with them, playing for her means using her hands and her hands happen to be the size of the cats... Tacoma respects electric fences, house broke, crate trained, doesn't jump (although she will get right up on you when you come in the house, I've been working on making her sit and settle down before she gets any kind of rubs - so far working... but slowly) It's really killing me to do this, but If I can find a right home for her, where there is another German Shepherd to play with I'd feel a lot better than letting her go to someone who isn't very familiar with the breed and their needs. Here's a few pictures of her.... or pretty much every picture I've ever had of her... Tacoma | Facebook Tacoma #2 | Facebook I'm located right in Downingtown, Pa (a few minutes off the Pa turnpike) I'd like her to stay closer than farther away... But exceptions made to the right situation. If anyone is interested or may know someone who is please feel free to email me at - Dmaxgirl@gmail.com |

Well I respect you A LOT for coming here! I'm hoping we can help you find a home for your beautiful girl! In your pictures she looks really spoiled and very happy!! I'd take her in a heartbeat but I have two cats and three dogs already! Hopefully somebody can help!!
<3 Quick Question, I might have missed it, but is she in tact?! Last edited by WarrantsWifey; 03-08-2011 at 11:02 PM. |

Tacoma,
Have you contacted the local rescues to do a courtesy post for you? www.gsr-sp.com or www.saveashepherd.org are both local to you and might have approved adopters that are looking for a dog like yours. The Owner Referral programs are really great. I sent you an email.
