Animal control seizes three dogs from E.C. home
 Welcome To Lake County Animal Control Center's Homepage!!! A 2-year-old female German shepherd was found abandoned along with two male dogs in an East Chicago home. The dogs, which are being treated for malnutrition, flea infestation and assorted medical conditions, have been taken to the Lake County Animal Control building in Crown Point. Adoptable German Shepherd Dog: Evelyn: Petfinder
Pet ID: 2722430 Evelyn is 60 lbs today. She is eating well and being treated for a variety of ailments. She is very loving to all. Lots of personality and surprisingly strong, considering she has no meat on her body. She has not been tested for heartworm yet, I anticipate a positive result, but it will be awhile before that or a spay can be addressed.

Sounds like these guys are safe here - regular meals and meds for the fleas will have Evelyn looking chipper in no time......
