I love pittie smiles

DH and I met while playing WoW. We talked for hours and hours every day and he was my best friend. Did I know he was the one? No, I did not. I had my sights on someone else at the time. But you know what? He was the one that picked up the pieces after that guy broke my heart.
We were together for six months before he proposed and then we got married about nine months later. October 1st will be our third anniversary and damned if I don't love him more today then on the day we got married.

My first marriage was after just a few months knowing each other. He turned out to be a violent psycho. Lol sorry that isn't helpful :/
I've been with my current significant other for 7 years. Happily living in sin. I certainly do believe you can know after a few months.

Tom and I were married 7-1/2 years after we first started dating. In fact, it took 5 years before we even moved in together, and that only happened when it did because we each had roommate issues and both either had to find new ones, or scrap that idea and get a place together. I wasn't in any hurry to get married, I was only 19 at the time and he was 18, but he was definitely the one.
We met through a mutual friend. We were in High School together, but he was a year behind me and we didn't really know each other, although we did have one class together. Tammy worked at a bank with my sister, and when one of our roommates moved out (Les and I had a 3 bedroom place), Tammy moved in. Tom was friends with her boyfriend, and had come over with him a few times to hang out at our place. Once, Tom came by himself to hang out with Tammy, (or so he said), but she wasn't home and we hung out and talked instead. After that he started coming over more often, but since I was actually dating another friend of theirs at the time, I didn't think anything of it. And then that guy called and dumped me over the phone, and Tom saw his opportunity and swooped in.
I was a cat person, and he had German shepherds. We were renting and weren't supposed to have pets, (his dogs still lived at his mom's house), but the day after he asked me to marry him he brought home a kitten - my engagement present. We started looking for a house to buy shortly thereafter and ended up moving in two weeks before the wedding. Imagine the stress of buying your first house and then moving at the same time you're planning a wedding! Some friends of ours had recently bred their GSD, so I got him a puppy for his wedding gift. We picked up Sneaker the weekend after we got back from our honeymoon, and we've had cats and dogs ever since.

I got engaged after 3 years, and married after 4 years. We've been together for nearly 6 years.
I don't think I knew right away. After all, my ex and I were planning on getting married, so I thought any "lets get married!" feelings were dumb.

|osito23||We started dating our senior year in high school. Went to college, then moved in together when we were 20/21. Got married after graduating college and getting "adult jobs" at 23/24. We've been married for 2 years now. Honestly tho I knew he was the one from the start and would have happily gone to Vegas with him many years sooner!|
