A girl and her dog I think what the OP meant was that he saw it on this forum/board and later couldn't find it, assuming it had been removed possibly b/c it wasn't GSD related.

I found and watched the video in its entirety. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I expected to see full on kicking with no restraint. I'm NOT saying it wasn't awful and sad to watch. It was. I really just wanted to hug that scared and confused puppy. He did yank the leash and force the dog out of a lying down position, but he didn't 'string the dog up'.

Again, not saying it wasn't heart wrenching, sad, and violent. But it wasn't what it was made out to be in the articles. He didn't full on kick the dog, he DID "kick" the dog as it was cowering but not as violently as the article made out.

It really did look like a typical "guy looses his **** out of frustration and resorts to nasty behavior." Again, not condoning, and not minimizing what is, just offering some perspective for those who can't watch based on what is written about the incident.

DonnaKay Didn't hear about it and don't want to see it. Me viewing it and expressing outrage on this forum isn't going to change what happened. Just because I didn't hear about it, watch it, or rant about it doesn't mean I don't love dogs. Not sure how you came up with that connection / assumption.

Agreed. I've never heard of it either, but even if I had, I wouldn't have posted it here because I don't post that sort of thing. That doesn't mean I wouldn't be outraged about it.

Since the OP obviously HAS heard about it, why doesn't he post the story in Current Dog Affairs? Getting mad because someone else hasn't done it yet is just silly.

we will surely burn for this.

JakodaCD OA I saw it a few days ago, disgusting, but why would one post it on here? If we posted every single dog abuse video on this forum, it would have it's own forum.

What gives? Did I miss it? Or, are we owners of GSDs not supposed to care about someone kicking the squirts out of a little puppy and then hanging them by their leash because the dog was a Dolberman?

Feeling outraged, surprised and bit bewildered and working or resentful because I was sure I was on a board that cared about dogs.

Are you serious?

Stevenzachsmom When I think something should be seen, I post it. I usually check first to make sure it isn't a duplicate. I read the story, but could not stomach watching the video. I felt others may also not wish to watch. Here is a link, for anyone who has not heard the story. Not sure if the video works. Like I said, "I cannot watch that."
