|McWeagle||I wouldn't be too concerned. My girl was like that. We couldn't keep the weight on her and she ate like a horse! She's very tall and lanky but very slim, and was eating about 6c of high protein food. She is probably just a bit taller than standard, or at least is at the high end, and was between 60 and 65 lbs until she turned 4. Then she gained a few and didn't need so much food. Now she's almost 6 and looks great! You can see the last rib, but not all the others. She's eating between 3-4c per day and weighs between 70 and 75 lbs - has been holding that for about a year and a half.|

Filling out concerns
I feel bad because I don't have much time anymore, so the only times I'm really able to pop in here is when I have a problem :C
Anyhoo, I have a male, intact german shepherd. He just turned 2 years old today. He weighs about 70 pounds. He's within standard AKC height range, but he still looks very skinny and hasn't filled out yet?
Should I be concerned?
He is up to date on his shots, and he is eating well: 6 - 7 cups of high protein food a day. Sometimes he refuses to eat his breakfast, but usually he is fine. Very active, always outside playing with me, or going on a walk or hike.
I'm just wondering if this is normal, or if I should take him to the vet.
