It also left suddenly lol. No, he def ate or licked something.

After he came back to me after one of his runs I smelled something, probably poop, just him standing next to me. So I opened his mouth and smelled it and yep, same smell.

After I washed his mouth it was gone and hasn't come back since.

I do smell his mouth regularly though to catch problems.

blackshep That can be the sign of a cracked/abscessed tooth. Smells like a rotting carcass.

I'd get tot he vet, especially if it came on suddenly.

That's how I think too. My dog recently walked around with a rock for 3 weeks. Ate loads of poop and is on raw.
I do get nervous about poisoned animals though. Just a personal paranoia)))))
