|Twyla||If you are in the ATL area; check out the Dekalb Farmers Market. The price difference may make a drive worth it.|

|DHau||I found most of the ingredients commonly used at Kroger and it has the best selection of flour substitutes. The prices for this stuff is unbelievable. I should buy stock in the companies. Lol. Anyway, corn is genetically modified as well as soybeans so the less I eat of either the better. My birthday is Sunday so I am thinking about trying a cheesecake recipe that I found in one of the books. Doesn't raspberry chocolate sound good! Raspberries in the filling and it has a chocolate glaze. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Lol|

Also, they make gluten free pizza crust at the store AND Dominoes actually has an option for gluten-free crust when you order I fyou are into baking too, they have all kinds of substitute flours that are gluten free, coconut flour, arrowroot, almond flour/meal, even an all purpose gluten free flour available.
I just started this too, and it was intimidating at first, but there is a lot out there to help! Most grocery stores have a Gluten free section to help too.

I have gotten three books from the library by the same author. The recipes seem simple enough. The only turn off is the recommended pasta which can be found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store. The noodles are shirataki and are packaged in fluid. I looked at them and it just did not look appetizing. If somebody has tried them, let me know what you think. As I looked through the recipes, I think that going completely wheatless cold turkey will be very difficult considering how much I love pizza and some pasta dishes. I think we will have to slowly transition into this until I learn how to substitute recommended ingredients for the traditional.
While shopping I noticed how much white grapes have changed. They have become much sweeter and more oblong. Are grapes a GMO product as well?
