I read something about this... any suggestion on how to start ?

MichaelE Lisl does it too, though until yesterday morning she hadn't done it since she was around 10 months or so.

Just hungry.

Stosh Like everyone else says, it's an empty stomach. Many people feed a few ginger snaps at bedtime to soothe the gut. I give a handful of dry food so he sleeps with something on his stomach

Maybe offer a snack just before bed?
Yup. Both of my boys throw up when they are hungry.

They are fed on a set schedule, 5am and 5pm, if I accidentally go over that time, they both throw up.

I agree with the snack before bed. Maybe a peanut butter filled Kong or put some treats or some kibble inside a toy.

GSD Owner in Training :-) Thank you everyone for the reassuring words that it is not serious. I will try feeding him a small snack before bed and if he still does it I will look into his food to make sure he is not allergic.

Sunflowers It could also be a sign of certain food sensitivities. Hans used to vomit bile a lot until I stopped feeding poultry.
