Coconut oil is rich in medium-chain fatty acids, which work similarly to 3 and 6 fatty acids in terms of helping with joint inflammation.
It also has lots of other uses, notably having anti-fungal properties and a natural way to help fight candida yeast.

I was told by the breeder to give vitamin C. The vet told me to also give glucosamine, Chondroitin and msm. The pills I have don't have Chondroitin. They have
green lipped mussel, but the vet said that was fine.

When to give supplements?
Hi everyone, I have a 6 month, 56lb (female) BGSD which is my first large breed dog. A local pet store owner suggested we start feeding her supplements to support her joints. I feel like I am clueless on this subject and wanted to get opinions on brands and recommendations when to start them. She is healthy and is on quality dry nibble. I don't want to start giving her something that her body won't utilize right now.
