Carriesue Honestly puppyhood with my current GSD was super easy, it's adolescents that's the REAL fun part... just you wait.

Alice13 I know that feeling. I just can't wait for Alice to turn one and for her to be all big and matured. However I do sometimes miss that cute little puppy face

No, that is Kaleb.

This is Riley:

puppy Riley

Less than a month before he passed:

Puppy Kaleb:

Silly Kaleb:

He loves to swim. Riley didn't care for swimming to much, but he loved to lay on the step. Here's Kaleb laying on the step:

no longer looking like a puppy:

I still miss Riley a lot. I love Kaleb also. They are all different individuals. One can't take the place or make the pain of losing one go away, but they bring their own personality and their own joy/love into your life.

Puppies are wonderful. I would not want to rush any stage. I love watching them grow, learn, and mature.

Maxil really can't wait to see Vicky as an old mature dog, she is one of the best puppies I have seen but I just wish she grows up to look like her father he is so freaking handsome the thing that worries me is that i have never seen her mother and idk how she looks like, here is a pic of her father he is an Egyptian GSD champion here is his picture

trcy I love puppies. I love the silly things they do and I love training them. Mine is 13 months now and I look back at his puppy pictures. I miss the puppy, but I also love the dog he is becoming.

I'm not a fan of this stage. He is SO obnoxious. Did I mention that he is OBNOXIOUS? I love him to death, and he gazes adoringly at me (seriously), but OMG.
This is how I feel too. My 10 month old is huge and yet doesn't seem to know how big and clumsy he is.
