Athena'sMom my long coat lost her puppy coat about 15 -16 weeks and she moved into her adult coat she looked like a short coat with fuzzy ears for about 6 weeks and then her coat started to get really pretty. They go through an awkward faze.

Audie1 My girl has pretty much lost hers at 14 weeks. They are all different

HarleyTheGSD Not sure about long coats either, but my two stock coats lost their puppy fur at around four months of age.

Puppy coat?

Hey all! I was curious as to when Rambo will start losing his puppy coat? He will be 14 weeks tomorrow and he is still as fuzzy as he was at 8 weeks. He's a long coat so I'm not sure if it's way different than stock coats. It's really visible with the stock coats when they start losing their puppy fur. Is it pretty obvious with long coats too? I've never owned a coatie before so I'm not sure how the process is .
TIA!
