lalachka And I know that there are trainers more accomplished and that he's pr'd and that's why he's famous. I'm not totally dumb. However, I like his methods and I like his dogs. That's enough for me to want to learn from him

lalachka Give me a name of two. I'm so stuck on him because I like his balanced approach. I like the idea of using force only once the dog is taught what we want. I've been to 6 trainers already, it's either pure positive or pure force.

Baillif You live in nyc I'm sure there are plenty of great trainers there. Michael Ellis is not the god of dog training. There are many dog trainers in the US that are more skilled and more accomplished. They just don't necessarily have leerburg fame

I thought she works at his school and pups wouldn't be shipped to her to evaluate. Doesn't she raise them herself or something?

Anyway, people in ca are very lucky. A few good trainers there. Maybe one day...

Dog is almost 3 now. She has had other trainers since then.

The trainer is Michael Ellis' partner for their malinois breeding program. She came highly recommended.
