I think she just has her excuse down pat....she probably can't get the lab to heel properly for her if her life depended on it....oh well, you're only as good as your next excuse...and she spent some time concocting that excuse. I give her a 7 out of 10 on her BS creativity.

How to turn a dog into a protection dog theory
I took Ty for a long walk today and ran into a woman walking a lab, the dog was infront of her and she commented on tyson heeling nicely, then she went on to tell me that her lab knew heel perfectly but she likes him out in front because she felt it gave him the "power and control" and he would be better to protect her and the home when her husband went away on business bc she let him walk her so to speak, seemed really whacky to me, Does she have some sort of method to her madness..
