There is one family that always has the illegal stuff every year. Last year it was half sticks, no problem for Cruz. This year it seemed to be just some m80's. We were on our usual walk and BOOOOM! I see what looks like a paint can fly about 20 feet straight up in the air. Cruz looked at it and that was that. It went off two more time before we got by. Cruz kept walking like nothing was wrong. However, my wife hates fireworks and I think he senses that because he kept turning his head checking on here the whole walk.
He was around 6 months the first time he heard one go off. He actually got excited about. But on our walk, I knew he'd be fine with loud noises when the same people set off a half stick about 20 yrds. from us and he didn't even flinch. I jumped alittle, he looked up at me and kept walking as it set car alarms off over into the next neighborhood. It was very loud.

|russdawg24||about a month ago My wife and I took our (at the time) 4 month old to a community festival that was very crowded and had a fireworks display. When it came time for the fireworks I sat her on my lap so she could sense my body language. When the first "Boom" hit she looked up at me as I stared at them smiling. After that she just sat calmly watching them for the whole 15 minute show. I was more excited for her reaction to the fireworks than the actual display itself haha|

Sinister was raised around VERY loud motorcycles, parades, fireworks, etc.
Well suddenly now at 5 years old, he is TERRIFIED of fireworks. He totally went into panic mode, panting, drooling, whining, big eyed, trying to hide in the house and hurt his paw when he was freaking out.

I think they get a kick out of their Susie when she jumps and hits her head when the big gun blasts though. Sometimes she speaks in tongues when this happens too. But the dogos don't care.|
