Holy crap! your boy has the exact same marking as mine! I have never seen another shepherd with the light tan color behind his front legs and above his shoulders like that. He also has a slightly wavy thing going on on the black strip on his back just like Chewie. If he had white on the tips of his feet instead of black, I'd think i was looking at my own dog

I got him from a coworker whose father apparently breeds them. I knew it wasn't ideal, but he told me they were AKC registered. Then I found they were going to be "given away" at an auction if no one adopted them so I took Loki. My coworker keeps telling me he'll get me the papers, but I'm not sure if he will ever.

LokiTheDog Thank you all! I would love him regardless (duh) but I was getting confused at all the mixed comments. I suppose due to his white markings. I will definitely be comparing pictures another 6 months from now to see his changes!

jocoyn At 6 months they go through all kinds of wonky stages. Head looks good. Some go through a real tiny pinhead stage and then the head grows.

Sunflowers Completely normal GSD, and not thin at all.

lawmarshall looks like gsd to me... ^_^

brembo Small does not equal less in GSDs. Quicker, less prone to joint issues and live longer(in theory). There is a reason BCs are cheater dogs in flyball, they are just about perfectly sized for quickness and speed. That and their insane drive. I have two smaller GSDs now(female is tiny) and I have as much fun with them as my dearly departed mutant giant Banjo. They are still GSD, and attitude and disposition make up 99% of what makes dogs special anyways. Eat less too....

Nigel Looks like a normal GSD to me.
