|wolfie13||Thanks for all the suggestions. I just want him to get to his normal healthy weight (he's got a long ways to go for that)|

I would leave him on canidae. Let his body get healthy again after the worms. You don't want to cause tummy issues with a food switch right now and cause loose stools.

Protein levels have absolutely nothing to do with bone growth. Bone growth in terms of food involves calcium/phos levels related to how much you are feeding per gram.
Find foods that have a good cal to phos ratio and it shouldn't matter what the levels of protein or fat are (provided your dog doesn't have a sensitive stomach and can handle it).

Be careful with "growth" formulas. These buggers grow too fast as it is & high protein, high calcium will cause their bones to overshoot their joints, setting them up for pano & other joint problems.
Stick with a quality adult feed.

Poor guy, worms are so nasty
Orijin is a very good quality food, either go with the large breed puppy formula or make sure the formula you use is rated for ALS (all life stages). The only criticism with Orijin is it can be very rich for some dogs and upset stomach and loose stools, start with a small bag and see how the pup handles it before jumping in. Also make sure to do a slow switch of at least one week (two weeks is better) of mixing the two foods
Fromm is another great company; I fed Delgado their large breed puppy formula and was very pleased.

good high quality food
What would be the best food for growth? Is orijen with its high protein count good for a growing puppy.
My puppy is finally rid of all worms. He had a bad case of tape worms had a ton of them in him. But is there more that can be done to have him grow?
I currently feed him canidae. But because of the worms I feel he needs something to get him back to to speed development wise.
He's now 3 months and 1 week old. I've had him since 2 months 2 weeks. Previous owner did not mention that he had tapeworms.
