The sire is martemchik's dog, so yeah, lots of pedigree unknowns there (as martemchik has posted about many times before), but obviously he's out there working that dog, so you do know that Rooney can work.
If you have seen the dogs in person and you liked what you saw from both of them, and what you've seen is pretty much what you would also want to do with your dog, then I don't see any reason not to get a pup.
I don't think anybody here is going to be able to tell you anything about the sire's lines, though.
I would be really interested in following your pup's progress if you do get one out of this litter.

|lhczth||Have they successfully done this cross before? You have some rather strong working lines in the mother being crossed with a lot of unknowns in the sire. This would worry me, personally, especially about nerves.|

I'm looking at a puppy out of this potential litter. I've seen both dogs work and they seem pretty solid. Can anyone give me more information about these lines and what to expect? I believe both dogs have been health tested and should produce healthy pups.
