My GSD's had ONE Parvo and ONE Distemper when they were pups, my choice, my Holistic vet agreed.
Female is 7 - titered every year and she still carries enough in her system.
Male is 5 - titered every year and he still carries enough in his system.
They will not get another Parvo/Distemp until the titer reveals that they need it, but again, my personal choice, and vet agrees.

First thanks for the reply guys
so what are you guys suggesting from this point ? Or what was your puppy vaccination schedule ?
I'm scheduled for visit #3 next week ?
Some of you might think im crazy for asking these instead of talking to my vet but im just protecting my baby here...Vets are human too and when money involved sometimes things changed.
Any advise is much appreciated !!

Lepto is the toughest call. No good screening test. Vaccine does not cover some of the variants I am concerned with. Highest rate of reaction. (A team dog also just had a reaction to the 4 way Merial Recombitek I was thinking of giving pushing me back into 2nd thoughtville-It was alleged to be less reactive than the Pfizer)
This was a mature, 7 year old 50lb dog with no history of immune system issues or vaccine allergies.

If you are going to give lepto, I would be giving the separate 4 way shot instead of the 2 way in the multi-mess. Honestly, depending on when you get your puppy lepto may/may not be of any value as it tends to peak in the Fall and when it is wet. You have to give it annually and it is the shot most likely to cause problems.
Even the AAHA does not recommend corona virus anymore.
I also mostly follow Dr Dodds approach but know a lot of vets do not; obviously your decision. I did give the DHPP first go round though but gave the Rabies separate. Now I titer for distemper and parvo. H for hepatitis is not here anymore except for sporadic cases in Mexico and along the Maine border and the first vaccine to loose efficacy is Parvo so if I titer for parvo, I am pretty sure the rest are strong.
Lyme is in GA...but not so much and there is a good test for it.

IMO...way too much!
Here is Dr. Jean Dodd's (vaccination research specialist) Vaccination Protocol. As you can see by this schedule, the shots are 4 weeks apart an reduced from the schedule your vet has set up. The rabies vacc should not be given at the same time with the other vaccinations.
9-10 Weeks Old: Distemper + Parvovirus, MLV (e.g. Merck Nobivac [Intervet Progard] Puppy DPV)
14-16 Weeks: Same as above
20 Weeks or Older (if allowable by law): Rabies
1 Year: Distemper + Parvovirus, MLV (optional = titer) I would Titer first before getting the shot and see if there is sufficient immunity.
1 Year: Rabies, killed 3-year product (give 3-4 weeks apart from distemper/parvovirus booster)
Perform vaccine antibody titers for distemper and parvovirus every three years thereafter, or more often, if desired. Vaccinate for rabies virus according to the law, except where circumstances indicate that a written waiver needs to be obtained from the primary care veterinarian. In that case, a rabies antibody titer can also be performed to accompany the waiver request. See the Rabies Challenge Fund website.

Please tell me what do you think !
1. DHPPCV#1,Deworm#1 for parasites, 1 month of heartworm/flea/tick prevention,Fecal exam
2. DHPPCV#2,Deworm#2 for parasites
3. DHLPPCV#1,Bordatella#1,Fecal exam
5. Rabies/Parvovirus,Lyme#2,Fecal exam
that is my puppy vaccination schedule with 2 weeks interval...
Im sure there are some knowledgeable people in this forum that can tell me if that is too much vaccination or the time between is too short? Cause i been reading alot and normally there are only 3 or4 vaccination visits and with 3-4 weeks interval.
