Our youngest got it at about three. Drops and keep an eye on it. Drops are not expensive either.

|Mary Beth||Prompt treatment really helps. My Sting developed it 3 years ago when he was 5. Only in one eye - at first he had to have the drops 4 times a day then it was gradually decreased so he is on a maintenance dose of 2 drops every other day. He takes his drops real well and is fine. So best of luck with your dog.|

|wyominggrandma||Yep pannus. Get him to a good opthemologist and start treatment. Long haul and medication for the rest of his life, try to keep out of sun wind etc. can't cure it but can keep it under control|

Hey, I'm taking my dog to the vet in a few days but I thought I might as well post here as well. I noticed this bump on his eye about a week ago, and on the other eye it looks like it might be pannus. He is almost 2 years old and any other info would be appreciated, thanks.
