awmp I like the go pro idea, I have been looking for a camera to record as well and never even thought about a go pro for some reason.

I agree.... I'd say go big or nothing. I know I've tried to slow low resolution.... And it's just a waste of time. Plus once you see the best.... You'll find it hard to settle for less.

I wholly disagree. A high frame rate camera is priceless for slowing down footage for analysis. So many minor details I've noticed only after watching in slo mo

scarfish i recommend no camcorder but rather a cheap 100 buck point and shoot camera with video mode selected. real HD camcorders are too expensive. people are only going to watch it on the computer anyways and the extra quality isn't worth the extra price IMO. assuming you just want to post video here or send a few videos to your family on facebook. i take tons of videos and use a cheap fujifilm finepix digital camera. i think the quality is decent enough for the computer.

Which camcorders do you recommend for recording yourself while you're training your dog what brands are good and which ones were not. Any help would be great
