Other than that he's being playful and doing well.

MissyMiss I am also wondering if it's worms? I just wormed him, because my mom said he definitely had them. She used to work at humane society for animals, so she knows.

MissyMiss They told me he was 6 weeks, we've had him for an additional week on that. So he's 7 weeks.

huntergreen maybe it would just be best to see the vet.

carmspack how old is the pup?

the dog may not be old enough to handle solid food ?

if it was pulled off the teat and handed to you , it is missing out on many crucial things. If still nursing , antibodies shared in the milk for immunity , fat content , digestible protein -- social experience .

Springbrz How old is he? Has he been to the vet for an exam yet? What are you feeding him?

Try adding water to his food to soften it. Make it mushy for a few days and gradually decrease the water after a week or so.

MissyMiss I do want to add, I don't think this breeder had them in hard food. I think they pulled him off his mom and handed him to us, :/
