wyoung2153 I dont' know the names of the kennels, I will have to look.. But the crates that I found to be most sterdy are the ones that are held together with screws on the sides. I have watched People's dogs with the ones that slide and clip in the back and theirs get out of them pretty easily.

Galathiel I've always had Vari-kennels. In fact, the one I'm using now is probably 15 years old, was used when I got it and is still holding up fine. They have some that are specifically rated for air travel. I think it's the Sky Kennel line, but not positive.

Crate recommendations

We will be moving from North Carolina to Hawaii later this year. My dog currently uses a wire crate and will need a plastic one for air travel. He has caused some damage to his current wire grate so I am wanting to go ahead and get him a plastic one.... He has pulled in the bottom wires around the door.
I am wanting to find a durable crate that is going to with stand him and keep him in. Shopping online it is hard to tell how sturdy the crates are.

Any recommendations or crates to avoid?
