DJEtzel I was so. Close. Haha.

Not bad for being stalked through Facebook and hearing about it months later, right?

wildo Thanks for filling in Danielle. Yes- Pimg had an ultrasound following unexpected weight loss throughout the winter. We did xrays, urinalysis, and tons of blood work. Everything came back within the normal range. We decided that since she stabilized in weight, it must be an age/weather related phenomenon. The only correction to what Danielle said is that Pimg did *not* put the weight back on. She was very, very consistent at 68.5 to 69 pounds; She has fallen (and stabilized) at 63 pounds even. After discussing with my vet, we decided that since she seems no worse for wear, the extra weight is nice to keep off since she is aging. She's lean and mean right now...

Yep, other than the Addison's that they already knew about, they couldn't find a single thing wrong with her and just blamed it on aging. She stopped losing weight and I believe she gained the weight back as well, so no harm done. He just wanted to make sure everything was fine. She's still going strong- getting adjusted at the chiro today before CPE nationals next week!

Haha, funny enough, we camped in north-central Indiana! (I sure think Michigan is better, though. I'm skeptical about becoming a Hoosier)

Thanks!

The shave was actually from an ultrasound, IIRC - she's been spayed for some time, and the shave was somewhere around 6 mos ago, it just isn't growing back well. Willy may be able to answer better, but I believe they did the Ultra Sound to check on everything when she lost some weight unexpectedly over the winter.

Thanks! You really should, it's such a blast to be able to take them with and have somewhere safe for them to stay when they need to be crated.

Guh, I forgot to post about that here, but isn't that awesome!? That dog is the bomb! Such an awesome, quirky dude. Willy mentioned it and I wasn't going to discount him, but it had been a while, so I didn't get my hopes up. He shoved that right in my face less than ten minutes later!
