Please go to a vet dermatologist. Faster, cheaper, better. https://www.acvd.org/
Those are some deep sores.
I'd want to ask my vet about a Michigan thyroid panel too.
I would have whoever examines her do lump checks all over as well.

Hey everyone, i have a german shepherd female named zena! Recently she's been very itchy around her back and ears and she's had hot spots before where i treat her with this hot spot spray and it works beautifully but this time her whole under belly has been turning into a greyish-black skin colour almost like an elephant and her ears are turning the same way. Inside her ears the skin is crusty and starting to bleed. She has random spots on her back that are like the hot spots i've seen before just not going away as easily. Does anyone know if this is Sarcoptic Mange or maybe something else!? I've had some bad experience with vets with my other past pets and i really don't want to take her to one just yet. Does anyone have any successful treatments i can try with her? Please and Thanks!
