My parade ride

Well, really the warm-up prior.

Can you guys believe parade officials actually made me carry that
2 1/2'X3' sign? Thank goodness it didn't bother Leland in the
slightest. He was my awesome boy throughout, didn't even spook
when several balloons popped near us. The only thing he really
didn't care for (Annoyed ME, too!) was the incredibly harsh
announcer. But with just a bit of urging from me, he walked
past. His first parade ever!

The ribbon you see fluttering from the bridle is mine from May
15th, 1974:
