Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.

onyxkaiser How did your vet diagnose the pano? Was it by observation and or palpation? Or did you need an X-Ray?

Oh good to know! I had no idea they shouldn't run until 18m. or older.

Thanks for the information, I'll look into some of those items you listed.

Anubis_Star a dog shouldnt be running until they are at least a year old, preferably no hard running until 18 months. So don't even try that no matter pain free or not.

Panosteitis is not actually "puppy growing pains", it's a weakening in the long bones causing inflammation, largely considered to be cause by rapid growth rates.

I've used a combination of NSAIDS, Rimadyl, and pain medication, Tramadol, along with decreased exercise.

Panosteitis (puppy growing pains)

Jango is experiencing panosteitis in his front leg which is causing him to limp a little. The vet took a look at him and everything is fine, just some puppy growing pains which are common for GSD. This is the first time I've dealt with this before, and am wondering what you guys have done in the past to make the pain better?

I'd love to start taking him running but I want him to be pain-free before we begin.

Poor puppies, it sounds so painful
