igottabecrazy There was a thread very similar to this just a couple of weeks ago. The general thought was that this is normal. I worried about my Indie at that age as well. She's 14 months old now. She still pants from time to time but not as fast or heavy as she did as a young pup.

Panting/heavy breathing.

My pup can be lying down and he just pants and pants like he's been running around outside. Even with he sleeps, it's really loud, fast, heavy breathing. He's lying behind me right now, completely relaxed, but he's like.. HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH like he ran a billion miles. He's 5 months and 1 week old, I don't know if it's normal or not for him to be breathing/panting the way he does.

He's normal.. personality wise. He eats, drinks a ton of water. The room is usually between 70-74 degrees (we like it cold in here)
