Nat Geo did a great job on covering soldiers and MWDs for their June edition!

Springbrz Not to be a Debbie Downer. But to me Memorial Day is NOT a holiday! It is a day of honoring and paying respect for those who have fallen while serving on active duty. I think the meaning of the day has been lost in the bbq's and sales. and I don't care for that.

So, Please let me take this moment to reflect respectfully on the loss of all those who have sacrificed their lives while on active duty to defend our great country and defend my rights as I know them.

Today, I give my personal honor and prayers, to the memory and families of Lt Joshua L. Booth USMC KIA October 17, 2006 in Haditha, Iraq. and to Boatswain's Mate 1st Class (SEAL) Brian J. Ouellette KIA May 29, 2004 in Zabul province Afghanistan.

"Freedom is not Free"

Thank you.

Treated Like Trash

With what's suddenly revealed about the VA but which has been going on for many decades, I'll be people think twice about serving. Once you're out of the service and especially if you'll cost the government money you're treated like trash.

SummerGSDLover Thought I would dredge this up to add a resounding "Happy Memorial Day!" Thank you to all of our current and part veterans for allowing us to keep our freedom and to be safe.

I'm trying to search for lists of wrestlers who served durig WWII, or at least served at some point in the military. There are plenty of sites with lists, but I can't find a complete list. Each list has some of the same, and some different names. And then I'd have to figure out which wrestlers have written books. I might not be able to help you figure it out.
