Anubis_Star bump off midline in a female dog is much more concerning for a mammary tumor, and an umbilical hernia would not feel round like a marble. Get her checked out, and if it is a growth have it removed and sent to a pathologist for review.

my boy diesel oh
get that checked out
an umbilical hernia is usually soft and squishy and right about the center of the tummy
right at the belly button or next to it

sheps4life I don't have a picture it's not really visible, but I can feel it, it's located just off the center or her belly, right before the fur. The one unusual thing she's been doing lately is hiding under a table or in the bathroom at times.

It feels about the size of a small marble

my boy diesel do u have a pic of it?
could be an umbilical hernia but depends on where it is and how it feels when you press on it

Small bump on my Sheps belly

My GSD mix Lucky has a small bump on her belly, I can feel it when I rub her belly. She still has a good appetite and is active. What are possible causes? And should I take her in for a checkup?
