llombardo When I got Midnite from the shelter he came with kennel cough. I had three other dogs at the time and 2 of them got it. They all had it 10 days apart. They did not reinfect each other and I did not get rid of any toys.

ChetsDad Our guy had a mild case of it about a month back. We didn't do anything special cleaning-wise, the vet gave him a course of antibiotics and vitamin c. In a couple of days he felt better and in about a week he was tip top. Definitely can't hurt to wash anything though, but we didn't disinfect or throw out any toys. Hope he feels better!

I know this is contagious so should all of her toys and bedding be cleaned/disinfected? This may sound stupid, but I've never dealt with kennel cough before and forgot to ask the vet! I just don't know if that slobbery tennis ball will continue to make her sick (like a sort of vicious cycle)!!!
since you can't clean tennis balls, throw it out and use a new one each time you play fetch until, the Kennel cough is passed.
