Mesonoxian What a handsome dog, it looks like you had great fun! We love throwing a little work into our hikes, too. I don't do any competing with my dog, but doing obedience while out in the great unknown seems to throw a little pep into her response.

Best type of fetch/hike

Throw in a little obedience here and there and make the dog use its nose during a hike and you'll have one tired and happy dog.
