I have used this liquid fertilizer in the past: Liquid Fertilizer |
I have to admit that I don't have the lawn I would like. But I don't have a green thumb so that may be the problem

|kbella999||I decided this year to not do any pesticide weed killers in my back yard. I've been using vinegar in a garden sprayer to kill weeds. I also put down the natural corn gluten to help fertilize and prevent weeds from growing. I think all I did was feed birds because I have a huge yard full of weeds and the birds are always in my yard now. I'm not sure what to do at this point because my yard is way to big to try and tackle it with a garden sprayer with vinegar.|

Under the reviews someone claimed that they use the Indoor/pet formula as spot treatment on thistles in their yard and it worked!
So in essence using a natural pesticide as prevention for fleas/ticks/mosquito's does double duty as a safe weed killer!

|llombardo||I wish I could use a grub killer, a couple of mind are always digging for them I cut the grass way to short at the end of last season and I have several areas that are a problem and I don't know what I'll be doing. Seed with straw in top holds well but I still have a lot of traffic.|

|Courtney||My husband prefers to put moss down when putting down grass seed. It does help to keep the seed down. When we have used straw before...we ended up with it growing ugly in the yard|

Appreciate the replies...thank you.
Over the years ..as far as fertilizer goes..I have used Ringers Lawn Restore which works very well and claims to be safe for pets. Ringer Lawn Restores is made of pellets pressed from hydrolyzed meal; these pellets contain poultry feathers, nitrate of sodium, potassium sulfate, bones and soybeans.
I wonder if I am just fooling myself into believing it is not harmful ????
