Mishka&Milo Mishka sleeps some, and cuddles a LOT. She also enjoys watching tv

Galathiel "Patiently waiting for action" ? My pup does that upon occasion, but his has nothing to do with boredom or depression. He'll do it sometime when I remonstrate with him about bugging the cat so he'll lie down and peer at the cat. Other times, he'll do it when he's in his "place" waiting to be released. He knows he gets quite a few "aww look how cute" comments so I think he's hamming it up to get released faster.

As to what he does in the house ... chew on his antlers and bones, try to get someone to play tug with a too-small toy, bug the cat (and get in trouble for it) and very ... VERY rarely .. he'll sleep. He just doesn't do much of that unless crated.

In my opinion I wouldn't say she looks bored as much as... restless? alert? ready? Almost like she's saying "Ok I know we have to be inside now and I accept that but I'm ready 24/7... Just say the word!"

Ha, no worries. So am guessing, this is what yours does? Titan doesn't play by himself. He doesn't chew anythign but bones and I think he gets bored. We have to keep him occupied. If I toy is out he won't just lay with it or chew it.. it's in your face for PLAY TIME! Which can be frustrating. lol.

wyoung2153 Titan, well who the heck knows while we are at work. He has a doggy door so I'm sure he goes outside for a bit and I know for a fact he is on the couch at some point during the day... GSD hair doesn't lie!

When we are home but not outside playing, he is laying down somewhere, trying to get into his closed toy box because mom must have forgetten that she shut it and clearly needs me to remind her that it's always playtime, or he's chewing on a bone. He does follow me into every room and while I'm cooking sits at the entrance of the kitchen unless otherwise told not to.

Yea, I know, kinda stupid, but we tried it on a free trial and the dog dialed in and loves it SO much the husband added it to our channel lineup for "his" special buddy dog. I work from home and it is actually decent to have on while I work as there is not plot or audio to screw up my medical transcribing. I threaten to remove it and the dog and husband go up in arms so I leave it alone. Husband pays that bill.
That's really interesting.... What exactly is on it???? lol.

Eiros He will chew his antler or sleep.
If he's up and about, playing and wandering, and can't "settle" I know he probably needs more exercise, so out we go.

MiaMoo If she's not in the main part of the house then she's running back and fourth through her dog door or spying on the dog next door. If she's in the main rooms with us, she's awkwardly trying to sleep on the couch with the cats or slumping up against us.
